Hi, I’m Makena, a 23-year-old hairstylist originally from Southern California, now calling Oregon home after moving from San Antonio, Texas. I specialize in lived-in color and enhancing natural blondes and brunettes, but I also love playing with fun, bold pop colors. When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me exploring nature, reading books, capturing moments through photography, diving into music, or playing with my dog willow. I’m passionate about helping my clients feel their best, whether it’s a subtle change or a bold transformation. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be done 24 hours in advance. I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-show/ no-calls or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Oh I had the most wonderful time with Makena today! She's sweet and relaxing to be with. She listens to me and takes me seriously. She has ideas for how to help my scalp and oily hair issues that I thought I'd have to live with. She's knowledgeable about a variety of areas that help me with my hair and styling. She made me want to start styling my hair when I used to be low maintenance. I brought my own shampoo and conditioner because it's medicated and she was supportive. She also showed me products that made my hair healthier than I've ever seen it!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Makena! I'm never going anywhere else. Her fee was shockingly reasonable too! I love her. You will too.

I recently had highlights done by Makena and the result is really nice. I like how she explained what she thought would work and the look is very uniform and very pretty. I also appreciated the extra touches she did with my haircut and I'm sure it will grow out nicely and be easy to style as well.
Makena is a lovely young woman with a promising future as a hairdresser.
